Seasonal Intel

The Hamptons private-aviation calendar changes with the seasons. Here's what to expect when you fly.

Summer · Peak Season
June – September

Fridays are the busiest days of the year. KHTO slots fill by Wednesday. Curfews tighten. We recommend booking 7–14 days ahead and departing before 3 PM on Fridays to avoid airspace congestion.

  • Book 7–14 days ahead for Friday slots
  • Curfew: 11 PM arrivals cut off
  • KFOK alternate strongly advised
Fall · Shoulder Season
October – November

The secret season. Wine harvest weekends, empty beaches, and wide-open airport slots. Rates soften 15–25%. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard routes are still popular. Perfect for long weekends without the crowds.

  • 15–25% rate reduction vs. summer
  • Wide KHTO slot availability
  • Island-hopping routes still active
Winter · Off-Season
December – March

Hamptons-to-Florida becomes the dominant route. Palm Beach, Naples, and Miami see 60% of winter Hamptons traffic. KMTP reduces hours; KFOK becomes the primary hub. Rates are at their lowest.

  • Florida routes peak (PBI, APF, MIA)
  • KMTP reduced winter hours
  • Lowest rates of the year
